It’s been such a long time... since I came into this community.
I knew the boards had been divided up a bit more and all that...
Because of that, I don’t know which board my old posts ended up on or where they are^^;;
I think I wrote fewer posts about nose implant removal than I thought... though they still come up in search~
I had nasal bridge silicone + ear cartilage for the nasal tip + cartilage tying + nostril reduction.
Around... 10 to 11 months after that, I removed the nasal bridge silicone and ear cartilage.
I didn’t separately untie the cartilage that had been tied.
And since I had nostril reduction by incision, that can’t be reversed...^^
My memory was hazy about when exactly... I had the removal surgery.
But looking at the posts I wrote,
it has now been exactly 1 year and 2 months since the removal surgery.
The conclusion is.
I have forgotten it all and am living very comfortably and peacefully.
It’s not that I have no aftereffects.
After my nose surgery, I had surgery to lower the nasal bridge silicone just 2 weeks later, so I had it done twice.
And because blood collected in the skin at the incision site and the skin swelled up like a blister, I had another surgery to cut that out. (Because of this kind of incision-site inflammation... and a very faint visible allergic reaction, I decided to remove it)
All of this happened within about 2 months, so my nose was touched 3 times in 2 months,
and lastly, I had the removal surgery after about 10 months.
My nose was touched 4 times....^^
Maybe the mucous membrane inside my nose became weak, but even when I eat just a little spicy food, clear runny nose... drip....ㅠㅠ
And my nose is still as hard as when the silicone was in. (This... also seems to be due to my skin tissue quality. My tissue has always recovered slowly, so I expected a lot of scar tissue to form.)
But... these aftereffects bother me so little that...
my mind feels very at ease.
During the recovery process, I think I was... lucky compared with many people who suffer a lot.
It was easy.
I had absolutely no external-looking contracture.
My nose had become very hard...
That... is still almost the same now. The hardness.
I don’t feel that it is particularly uncomfortable~
Even without nose surgery, many people with strong cartilage naturally cannot make their own nose into a piggy nose.
I don’t think it’s necessary to be able to make a piggy nose like everyone else^^;;
For the 10 months until I removed it, I also
cried dozens of times a day while looking in the mirror,
from the very day I had the surgery.
Even if I woke up briefly while sleeping, I would check my nose with the mirror placed beside me.
I was worried and depressed... and didn’t want to meet people with this face....
I do understand that feeling..
I don’t know whether this will help or not, but I’m leaving this long post as I pass by.
Just... there are people like me who recover easily and are doing well,
so if there are people who have decided on removal, I think the best thing is to get the removal with peace of mind and hope your recovery goes well.
Don’t worry too much. It will go well~
