I had facial liposuction last summer. Because my fat graft had over-engrafted, I had liposuction on the sagging part of the anterior cheekbone area and on my double chin. When I watched him on YouTube, the director seemed very kind and cheerful, but in real life he was a bit chic and reserved. I could feel his pride and confidence in his own technique and skill. At another hospital I visited, they said the anterior cheekbone area is a special area, so the maximum would be 2 cc on both sides, which sounded like such a tiny amount that it would barely be worth extracting. Another place said that if there are foreign materials such as Sculptra in the anterior cheekbone area, it is difficult to extract fat. But the director at Fresh said none of that mattered and that he could extract it.
On the day of surgery, I only saw the director during the design, and he was still so chic that it felt a bit scary to talk to him.. It felt awkward that I had to keep communicating only with the consultation manager.
After waking up from sedation anesthesia, I woke up alone in a small room that felt like a storage room, and the director did not even do the usual courtesies like telling me how many cc were removed, that the surgery went well, or to wear the compression band properly. The consultation manager saw me off.
I’m satisfied with the surgical result itself. Because they make a slight incision at the corner of the mouth to remove fat from the anterior cheekbone area, the nerves between the mouth corner and anterior cheekbone area were numb for almost half a year. Even now, I don’t think the nerves at the left corner of my mouth have fully returned.
The double chin turned out extremely well. It doesn’t seem like they remove too much.
It seems like a place where it’s hard to build rapport with the doctor, so even though he is skilled, I don’t think I would go again..
