For everyone who’s had revision rhinoplasty because they didn’t like their bulbous nose, what material did you use? When I had my primary surgery, a lot of people recommended ear cartilage and septal cartilage, so I used those. If the difference isn’t going to be dramatic, is it better to just use costal cartilage..? I’m also curious about reviews from everyone who used donated costal cartilage for revision surgery. Please also take a look at whether Lowell and Mind are okay for revision rhinoplastyㅠ
방구제이 I previously saw someone here say they had revision rhinoplasty with donated costal cartilage and got inflammation, so I immediately went with autologous costal cartilage. The difference is just whether you end up with a scar on the rib area or not, but rather than risking inflammation in the nose and having a hard time, I think it’s better to just live with a 3 cm scar. If you take good care of it, it fades, so consider autologous costal cartilage too. They say the absorption rate is low, so reuse is usually possible too.
미썽 For my primary surgery, I used the same materials as you, but if I get revision surgery this time, I’m considering autologous costal cartilage.. I do think there’s some difference between donated and autologous costal cartilageㅜ.. I guess I’ll only know after consultations.. I’m planning to go to Mind too.
복코 There are still a lot of people who do revision surgery with donated costal cartilage, but these days more people use autologous costal cartilage. For revision rhinoplasty, Lowell is okay.
빡빡함 There are actually quite a lot of bulbous-nose cases that end up needing revision surgeryㅜ It has to be done somewhat dramatically, but it can easily become excessive... Since it’s revision surgery too, and if you want a more dramatic look, maybe you should look at places that handle autologous costal cartilage well. Mind is okay too, and JT and Made Young are similar.
code If you don’t care about scarring, people seem to do autologous costal cartilage, and if it bothers them a lot, they seem to use donated costal cartilage.. I saw that Lowell specializes in revision rhinoplasty.
