<3 days after double eyelid surgery><Almost 1 month after double eyelid surgery><Photo taken before revision surgery!>I had my first double eyelid surgery in early 2021, and before the surgery I had used a lot of double eyelid tape and double eyelid glue, so the skin around my eyes was sagging. After graduating from middle school, my mom said she would let me get double eyelid surgery, so I was excited and looked into clinics. But my mom said she couldn’t go around to many clinics, and that there was a clinic recommended by someone she knew. Back then, I was just happy about getting double eyelid surgery, so I said okay and went there to have it done. The consultation was fine, and I decided to have the surgery. But the result was really bad^^;; As you can see in the photos, one side was okay, but the other side really became a sausage eye. They said things like, because my eyes were very uneven, they deliberately operated that way to match the size or whatever (then they should have told me before the surgeryㅠ). At first they insisted it was swelling, but as time passed, I said it didn’t seem like swelling, that my eye looked strange, and asked how this could possibly be swelling. Then they got angry and said it wasn’t swelling, that as I got older my skin would sag so although it looked like this now, later I might actually like this eye (the sausage eye) more, and that if I wanted, they would do revision surgery. But then they got angry while saying things like, even if they did revision surgery it might not improve, and if it became even stranger after revision surgery, they wouldn’t take responsibility. I remember being so angry that I just left with my mom. At first they insisted it was swelling, so I even got swelling injections and managed it diligently, but it was simply a botched surgery, and I lived for almost 2 years believing it was swelling. But while going to school, I heard so many rude comments from friends and was really stressed out. Seriously.. Anyway, everyone who is thinking about plastic surgery, please research it really carefully before doing it..!! I’ll post my revision surgery review later!!
