<The before may be shocking, but this was my nose after the first surgery><After, it got much slimmer> I had my first surgery when I was a student, so I think it’s been almost 10 years I had surgery for a hump nose, but my nasal bridge still looked too wide, so I didn’t like it Later, I saw that the step-off was still there too, so I ended up getting revision surgery They say the more footwork you do for revision rhinoplasty, the more you gain So I just booked consultations at hospitals wherever I could and went around There were a lot of hospitals I had high hopes for but ended up disappointed in And there were also places I went to without expectations but liked, so it was really hard to choose lol There were 2 places where I had paid reservation deposits But in the end, I got my revision done at the place I’d gone to without much expectation Both recommended autologous costal cartilage The hospital where I had surgery took an X-ray and properly checked my autologous costal cartilage And during the consultation, they edited the predicted postoperative appearance, and that was my style too They also said they would refund me if the nasal tip drooped Since it was a revision surgery, I chose a place that could do it accurately haha After getting it done, just like the postoperative photo they had edited during the consultation My nose looks much slimmer from the front, so I like it But I do regret why I didn’t do it like this sooner And I wonder why the previous hospital couldn’t do this for me I guess I should just be grateful that I didn’t get contracture These days a lot of people get very dramatic noses, but I just got a natural-looking straight-to-slightly-curved bridge that suits me, and I’m super happy with it lol Even though my nose was once ruined, I think I did well with the revision Now what’s left for me is to see how much the scar from removing the autologous costal cartilage fades And I’ll have to keep watching how the nose shape settles from here But I think I’m glad I did it.. It feels like it fixed exactly the ruined parts of my nose, so I’m grateful to the director,...,
