Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

A community review of a clinic

I had already paid a surgery deposit at another place, but I thought I should still go to every consultation I had booked, so I went to this clinic. When I was making the consultation appointment on KakaoTalk, I said I wanted a consultation because the Mongolian fold at the inner corner of my eyes and the hook shape were severe. They said there are several surgical methods and that I would need to come to the clinic for a consultation to know accurately, so honestly I wondered what they meant and whether they were just pushing consultations too hard. Since I had already paid a deposit somewhere else, I didn’t have high expectations, but when I had the consultation, I was a bit surprised because they had divided the surgical methods for the hook shape at the inner eye corner very finely and approached it in detail. They said the hook shape could also be improved with canthoplasty, but in my case the hook was deep, and if done with canthoplasty, my impression could look stronger, so they recommended restoration. The estimate was expensive, and I would also lose the deposit at the other place, so I thought about it a lot, but I felt they were very specialized in removing the hook shape, so I had surgery at this clinic. I tend to recover slowly, so I was worried even before surgery, but they let me come to the clinic often to check my progress and kept taking care of me so I wouldn’t worry. Today I had my 6-month progress check, and the consultant wasn’t just saying it because she was from the clinic. She showed me the before-and-after difference and said it really went well, and even to my eyes it turned out well. A lot of money went out, but I’m relieved it was worth the price.
