There were so many consultation and surgery reviews here and there that I went in for the consultation with slightly high expectations. As expected, all the staff were kind, and the director was kind too. They explained the surgical method and the expected effects well, using examples. They answered all my additional questions in detail, and regarding the issue of sagging, I think they spoke honestly.. But this was the second hospital I consulted at, and at the first hospital I visited, I didn’t hear anything about cortical osteotomy, so I’ll have to look into that later..
After finishing the consultation with the director, I consulted with the manager, and they said they were running a review-writing event. They explained that I would need to post 4 times across 3 cafes, and that they would keep mosaicked before-and-after surgery photos for about 5 years? I think. I asked about the guidelines for writing the review, and they said there were no set guidelines, and that generally I could write something like, Director so-and-so was good, these changes were good, and so on. When I asked what happens if I only write one or two lines and submit it, they said they weren’t sure and that the marketing team would tell me separately later... Well, later means after the surgery? I don’t know.
In the end, I was satisfied with the director’s consultation, but the review-writing part seems like it would be too exhausting, so I think I’ll either keep visiting more clinics or have surgery at the place I consulted before. Maybe it’s because I haven’t gone around to many places yet, but compared to the first hospital I went to, this consultation felt disappointing in several ways and left me deflated.
