For a long time, maybe because my overall face shape looked wide and flat, I was always bothered by the feeling that my impression looked a bit dullㅠㅠ In particular, the lower part of my jaw spread out like a square jaw, so when I took photos my face looked broad, and I naturally ended up covering the area around my jaw with my hand.. My side profile also had a slight retruded chin, so my overall impression looked stuffy, and I felt uncomfortable seeing my mouth open when my face was expressionless, so I eventually decided on two-jaw surgery! At first, I really agonized over whether to go to a plastic surgery clinic or an oral and maxillofacial surgery clinicㅠㅠ But I knew my temporomandibular joint area wasn’t very good, so I decided to go with an oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic that could look at it more professionally. Among them, this clinic was one I had been keeping an eye on because I liked it after searching through many reviews whenever I had thought about surgery beforeㅎㅎ Looking at the reviews, the results weren’t excessive, and I liked how they corrected what needed correction while naturally filling in the areas that had been lacking, so I trusted them. In the end, after seeing reviews where the contour was naturally refined, I also decided to have surgery here! After surgery, at first it really hurt so much. It stung every time I swallowed saliva, the inside of my mouth was swollen, and swallowing felt uncomfortable, so each day felt like I was just enduring it. I also had nasal packing in, so breathing was hard, but after they removed it in the morning, it felt much better. Still, my face kept swelling, and especially around days 3-4, it swelled like it was about to burst, so I was startled every time I looked in the mirror. I tried to do ice packs, laser treatment, and the compression band as diligently as possible, but it was so hard that I wondered if this was really normal,..ㅠㅠ For the first week, I basically had to sleep sitting up, so my hips hurt, I couldn’t sleep properly, and since I could barely eat only things like New Care or porridge, I had no energy. Then around week 2, after the stitches inside my mouth were removed, the swelling slowly started to go down, and it got a bit better..!!! When my family and friends told me my face looked smaller, I felt good too, and it was amazing to see the contour gradually taking shape!!!!! After weeks 3-4, I did mouth-opening exercises and gradually tried foods that required chewing. It still felt awkward, but I was so happy that it wasn’t like beforeㅠㅠ As more time passed, the swelling went down enough that I could go out without a mask, and opening my mouth also became more and more natural!!!ㅎㅎ Especially whenever I heard that my jawline had become slimmer and prettier, I really,, thought I made the right decision to have surgeryㅠㅠㅠ Around 6 months, it felt completely settled, and when I compare my old retruded-chin look with my face now, it’s really differentㅋㅋㅋㅋ When I take photos, my side profile looks much more refinedㅎ Now that almost a year has passed, I don’t even really remember my face before surgery. My current look is so natural and changed without being excessive, so I feel very satisfied every time I look in the mirror. Honestly, at first it hurt so much that I regretted it a little, but now I’m truly extremely satisfied, really.. With this degree of change, I think all the hardship was worth it. The oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic is the best!!!bb
