Review of Double Eyelid Surgery and Ptosis Correction

My ptosis was severe, so my forehead was always wrinkled.

I didn’t even know this could be fixed with cosmetic surgery,

but no matter how I looked at it, my eyes seemed to droop too much, so I searched and found that this existed.

When I went to a plastic surgery clinic, the doctor said this would improve a lot if I had surgery,

and I also thought double eyelid surgery on the eyes was not an extremely dangerous procedure, so I had surgery right away.

It is definitely clearer now, instead of my eyes always looking half-closed,

and my forehead no longer wrinkles.

But since this involves cutting the eyes and creating double eyelids that were not there before,

when I lie down and sleep at night, sebum? or something from my face sometimes seeps into the space around my eyes and stings a bit ㅠ

The eyelids are originally supposed to block things like that.

But since that area was altered, I think that function has become a bit weaker.

Since it’s oil, the fact that it seeps in easily probably plays a part too.

Still, this level of side effect is probably minor.

I made the double eyelids very subtle.

But even just that creates double eyelids where there were none, so it did make my impression look a bit stronger.

I think it would be good to keep this in mind.

For people like me who get forehead wrinkles because of it, doing it is effective, definitely.
