Hello Today marks exactly 5 weeks and 4 days since I had non-incisional ptosis correction + upper canthoplasty + under-eye fat repositioning surgery at a certain plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong.!! Originally, my eyes were the kind where if I applied double-eyelid tape in the morning and removed it, I would have double eyelids all day. It was inconvenient that they disappeared when my eyes were swollen in the morning, so I did want to get surgery, but I really liked my face as it was, and I was scared that surgery might change my impression or go wrong, so I couldn’t do it. Then as I got older, the skin around my eyes started sagging and my under-eyes looked hollow, so I finally made up my mind and had the surgery. I only had a consultation at one place, and since I’m impatient and easily influenced (lol), I had the surgery the same day I went in for the consultation, but now I regret that a little.. I should have gone to consultations at several places.. I have some flesh on my upper eyelids, so I thought I’d need an incision, but when I asked, “Can it be done with burial sutures?” the director said of course it could, and recommended non-incisional ptosis correction. He said I open my eyes using my forehead, so my forehead wrinkles would go away, and that I should also get an upper canthoplasty so my eyes wouldn’t look stuffy, so he recommended upper canthoplasty too.. I said I didn’t want my impression to change and that I liked my eyes around my current eye line, so he made the line exactly as it was. The thickness was 8 mm. I hadn’t thought about upper canthoplasty at all, but he spoke very confidently and said it would make me look really pretty, so I trusted that director and decided to have the three procedures. Anyway.. I thought the surgery would happen right away, but I think I waited one or two hours. I went under sedation, and after the surgery I was in the recovery room, and a nurse woke me up telling me to open my eyes. My eyes really wouldn’t open at all and I felt like the anesthesia hadn’t worn off yet, but she kept telling me to open my eyes... ㅠㅠ Even in that state, I asked, “Did my eyes turn out well?” lololol I didn’t even have a guardian with me, but they just woke me up like that, gave me a shopping bag and a prescription, and sent me off saying I could pick up the medicine and leave. There was no explanation at all, and they just gave me a business card saying to call if I had any questions, and that was it. Since it was close to the clinic’s closing time, it felt like they were sending me away in a rush. I couldn’t see well and the anesthesia still hadn’t worn off, but I got my medicine at the pharmacy, took the subway, and by the time I got to my home in the provinces from the terminal it was night. On the day I got double-eyelid surgery, I even went bowling before coming home and sleeping. lolol The more I think about it, the more upset I feel that they sent me away almost like they were kicking me out without properly explaining anything, so I’m writing this here.. lol I learned everything through the internet. Everyone says the line turned out well and looks pretty, and by about two weeks after surgery the major swelling had gone down a bit, but after that the swelling seems unchanged. It also seems like what people call sausage eyes.. The protruding upper eyelids feel like they’re not swelling but my own flesh, so I’m really worried that even after the swelling goes down, my eyes will still look too heavy and greasy, and I keep searching ㅠ.ㅠ Are there others like me..? My friends say it’ll look natural after 6 months, but I’m worried. Now that I’ve written it, it seems way too long.. lolol I’ll upload photos of my eyes without makeup and with makeup, and then disappear for now.
