Review of buried suture double eyelid surgery, it’s been a month

I’m posting this review because, more than I expected, it doesn’t look like I had surgery at all and I’m very satisfied with the results^*^ I had the surgery on February 6, and I decided on it really suddenly. I first went for a consultation at the clinic where three of my friends had their surgeries, with the idea of just getting a consultation first and then deciding. School was starting soon, and I was worried that the swelling wouldn’t go down within a month So I went in thinking, let’s get a consultation first and then decide! I don’t have much fat around my eyes, but I don’t have a natural double eyelid at all, and my eyelids are a bit puffy. So I thought buried-suture method wouldn’t work for me, but they said it would work!!! They said the swelling would mostly go down within a week and that after a month it would become almost natural, so I booked the surgery date right away The distance between my eyes is a little wider than other people’s, so they recommended epicanthoplasty, but I’m very timid... I decided not to do epicanthoplasty and only have double eyelid surgery with the buried-suture method!! My eyes weren’t extremely large, but they weren’t extremely small either~ The reason I wanted surgery was my eyelids As you can see, the distance between my eyebrows and eyes is long, so my eyelids looked really puffy What I liked most after the surgery was that the puffiness in my eyelids was gone! The surgery took only about 15 minutes, and compared to what I expected, it didn’t hurt at all, which surprised me. I’m extremely timid, so I was worried, but it really didn’t hurt Maybe because they applied numbing cream and then gave me anesthesia injections on top of that, I didn’t feel much And if you look above, there’s a slight bruise; they said that if you tense your eyes during surgery, you can bruise a lot I tried not to tense up as much as possible, but I was nervous the first time and tensed up, so that’s how it ended up What was surprising was that the swelling went down a lot in just one day. Until the stitches were removed after surgery, I diligently did ice packs and drank pumpkin juice twice a day without fail!! The stitches were removed two days after surgery. I went with a friend to get the stitches removed, and they said it didn’t even look like I had surgery After the stitches were removed, I worked hard on warm compresses, and the swelling went down quickly!! They said I could start wearing makeup two weeks after surgery, so I started as soon as two weeks had passed Before, no matter how thick I drew my eyeliner, it didn’t stand out, but now even drawing it lightly makes my eyes look so much more defined, and I love it!!
