Update after one month
Something is off. (Of course, I don’t regret having it removed, and it is better than before surgery, but...) The swelling between the brows has gone down and settled a bit, so the tip of the nose and the columella need to come down a little more for it to look like my original nose shape. The spot where the silicone was removed between the brows has caved in, but there should be some flesh over the original bone there, and there isn’t any at all, so it looks deeply sunken. Some of it was shaved down and lowered, and there’s no muscle or anything like that, just thin skin covering it. It seems lower than before..
And the tip of the nose without the silicone has flesh and is plump, so as the difference shows, it sticks up. Other people probably wouldn’t know unless they touched it, but since it’s my nose, it definitely shows and looks strange to me.
The biggest problem is that the nose length only looks right if the bridge between the brows and the tip both come down and droop a bit together. The bridge between the brows has come down because the silicone was removed and the starting point of the bridge has lowered, but the tip still hasn’t come down, so the nose has gotten shorter than right after removal and looks less attractive. I especially hate how the columella sits so far inside compared to the nostrils. Since there is an open-rhinoplasty scar, it looks even more sunken in. It’s hard to wait a whole year, so I think I’ll need to at least get filler in the meantime to try to correct it.
Please recommend a place that is good with filler. Can filler bring up the sunken columella? Can it lower the tip of the nose (nasal bulb)?
