10-day review after under-eye fat repositioning

<Before surgery, couldn’t cover with makeup><Before surgery, under a streetlight><Bare face right before surgery><Immediately after surgery><Evening on surgery day (bruising gradually appeared)><Day 2 (very swollen, bloody tears o)><Day 3 (bruises got darker - bloody tears o)><Day 4 (bruises turned yellow)><Day 5 (yellow bruises + swelling)><Days 9, 10 (swelling went down a lot, but inner corners of the eyes look sharp)>It’s day 10 after under-eye fat repositioning! Even when I put a lot of effort into makeup, from the side the fat bulged out,, And I was stressed because of dark circles that wouldn’t cover. Even bare-faced, I looked more tired than other people, so I couldn’t go out without makeup. I thought it was all just dark circles, but when I went for a Botox consultation, the consultant said this wasn’t the important issue right now and that under-eye filler seemed to come first. That’s when I think I realized, ‘Oh, my under-eye fat is sunken, it’s a bit odd.’ After that, I kept noticing my under-eyes (the consultant was too much). I had a vague aversion to fillers, so while looking things up, I found out about a surgery called under-eye fat repositioning. After that, I just kept thinking about it, and because I had to go to work, I wondered if I should quit first and do it,, but I felt like I shouldn’t delay it any longer. If I used vacation during this holiday, I could rest for about 7 days, so I quickly got a consultation and even set a date. Once I paid the reservation deposit, I started thinking maybe it wasn’t serious enough for surgery,, when I looked in the mirror it seemed okay,, maybe this much could be covered with makeup,, Even though I had already been told during consultations that I was a case that would see results from surgery, I think I kept worrying until right before surgery lol On the day of surgery, at the hospital, I took photos bare-faced and had a consultation, and I thought, yes, I really do need the surgery lol After surgery, everyone asked if I got epicanthoplasty instead of under-eye surgery lol ㅠ My eyes were already open at the inner corners, but once they swelled, they looked even more slit-like..! From the next day, I swelled up like I’d been beaten by someone. From days 1 to 3, a little bloody tears came out, And from days 4 to 6, the bruises turned yellow and gradually faded,, But I was so swollen that even saying I ate ramen and slept wouldn’t be an acceptable excuse. On day 7, the swelling had gone down a lot, but compared with my usual face, I was still very puffy..? I usually live wearing contact lenses, So having to wear glasses was uncomfortable ㅠㅠ (It felt like I couldn’t go anywhere with glasses on..) So on day 8, because I had to go to work, I didn’t touch the under-eye area at all and only lifted my upper eyelid to put in and take out my contacts. (I got permission from the director! They said not to wear them until week 3 if possible,,) It feels like the swelling is gradually moving down toward the cheekbones, And even now, when I touch under my eyes, I have more sensation than at the beginning, But it still feels anesthetized?? A numb, tingling feeling. Today, day 10, I feel like the swelling has gone down a lot, And since I kept wearing a mask to work, everyone asked if I was sick, So I tried doing simple makeup for the first time. I checked my face with the rear camera, And my under-eyes are still tight and puffy, so I kind of look like fox eyes? I hope the remaining minor swelling goes down quickly ㅠㅠㅠ I’ll add more and post again once more time has passed!! So far, I’m completely satisfied.
