I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this. A little while ago, I asked people to look over my consultation list, and I finally went to all the consultations recently, so I’m posting a review both for myself to look back on later and to share information! Oh, and if anyone here knows whether any of these places are blacklisted or can share surgery reviews, please share!! 1. ㅎㄴ The wait was about 1 hour, but compared to that, the consultation wasn’t long. I think it was under 10 minutes. I didn’t like the line they marked or the flow of the consultation, and when I asked something I was curious about, they suddenly treated me like a difficult patient and got angry, saying that if I was worried about that, I shouldn’t have surgery with themㅠ The consultation order was consultant -> director -> consultant, but both the consultant and director were not good, so I just left feeling annoyed for no reason. They recommended some kind of fixation reinforcement? method. (They said they developed it themselves.) 2. ㅈㅇㅌ(ㄱㅈㅌ,ㄱㅈㅅ) There was almost no wait, and the consultation order was consultant -> Director ㄱㅈㅅ (nose) -> Director ㄱㅈㅌ (eyes) -> consultant. Director ㄱㅈㅅ seemed like the type who doesn’t give false hope, and they explained things in great detail for a long time while showing a PPT. They also took a CT scan and explained while looking at it, and even asked whether it was hard for me to breathe through my nose, so I felt they were someone who really understands functional issues. But after hearing what they said, I felt like there was no hope, so I thought I just shouldn’t do my nose. But then the consultant spoke more hopefully... so I’m confused. Director ㄱㅈㅌ’s consultation wasn’t that long, but the line they marked was so pretty... Out of the hospitals I went to that day, I liked that line the most. I also liked that, with a review condition, the price was the cheapest among the hospitals I consulted at, but they said they use natural adhesion and dissolvable sutures, so I’m a bit uneasyㅠ I went without looking into dissolvable sutures at all, so I couldn’t really ask about side effects... It makes it hard to choose. 3. ㅇㄴㅋ(ㅇㅈㅎ) There was no wait at all, and the consultation order was consultant -> director -> consultant. The consultant felt subtly unfriendly? How should I put it... it felt like, “I know you’re not going to do it here anyway”..ㅋㅋㅋ The director was very gentle and kind, and although they looked busy and like they had to leave quickly, they still answered me well even though I kept asking questions! I open my right eye better, and that side protrudes more (they said that’s common for Koreans!), so for the right eye, even if the line is made higher, it looks less burdensome, but for the left eye, raising the line can look a bit heavy -> they said they would balance the symmetry accordingly. What they recommended was the buried suture method! 4. ㅅㄱ(Kim Jin-hyung) There was no wait at all, they took a CT scan, and there was a 10,000 won CT fee. I had consultations for eyes and nose, and altogether consultant -> director -> consultant seemed to take almost 1 hour? The director was so kind.... an angel The consultant was also pretty and kind. For the eyes, they recommended non-incisional ptosis correction + upper canthoplasty, and the line was decent too! But I’m a bit scared of ptosis correction, so I probably won’t do it here.. Sorry, director..ㅠㅠ They also recommended a nose line, and I think it would look pretty. Their aesthetic sense seems good. But it was a bigger procedure than I expected, so I’m hesitant about this too. 5. ㄸㅋ(ㄱㅎㅅ) I think I waited about 10 minutes, and I didn’t know it was factory-style, but there were lots of consultants, lots of reception staff, lots of directors, so it was factory-style!! The inside of the building felt a bit old (the chair in the consultation room kept almost tipping over!), but they marked several lines and they were pretty. Maybe because the consultant was so good at sales, I ended up putting down a deposit as if I was bewitched, but thinking about it, there are so many things I didn’t askㅠㅠ The director seemed busy and just marked the line and left, and the consultant didn’t seem to know much. I even forgot to ask the most basic thing, like how long it takes for swelling to go downㅠ-ㅠ What they recommended was natural adhesion, but this place also uses dissolvable sutures, so I’m not strongly drawn to it either.. Where should I go? For eyes, the lines at ㅈㅇㅌ and ㄸㅋ were so pretty that I want to choose between those two, but are dissolvable sutures okay? If anyone here had it done with dissolvable sutures, please let me know! My nose is on hold for now. And if anyone else has questions, I’ll check once in a while when I come into this community and try to reply in the comments! I wrote the hospital and director names with initials just in case it could become an issue!!
