I had bulbous nose surgery in 2022, but now my nasal tip is lifted, so I’m in a situation where I need to do it again.. I’m thinking of going somewhere else this time, not the place where I originally had surgery What I’m curious about is, when I had the first surgery, it was done with septal cartilage + ear cartilage + silicone If I do it again, can the existing materials be used again? I haven’t had consultations yet, but would ㅂㄱ or ㅎㅁ also do revision surgery by reusing the existing materials?ㅠㅠ I am thinking about costal cartilage too, but if it’s possible to preserve and use the existing materials, I want to do it that wayㅠ
가나영 If septal cartilage was used in the first surgery, you probably almost can’t use it again... It’s not something that exists in unlimited amounts, and the size each person has is different ㅜ During my revision surgery, they did use ear cartilage for the nasal tip at ㅈㅇ, but for this too, it’s best to find a hospital that’s good at revision surgery, get a consultation, and then decide
chzh I know ㅎㅁ, but where is ㅂㄱ? We’d have to look to know for sure, but if the nasal tip is lifted, I wonder if there’s any reason to use the same materials
잘난남자 Hmm.. If it’s revision surgery, wouldn’t it be better to play it safe by removing everything that’s in there now and using autologous costal cartilage or donated costal cartilage? You’d have to know why the nasal tip lifted, but I have heard that Director Kim at ㅎㅁ handles costal cartilage well

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
