It’s exactly been one week today since I had functional rhinoplasty. My nose was originally very small and low, so I wasn’t expecting it to be raised dramatically. Even though they used 5 mm of autologous costal cartilage to raise the nasal bridge, it still looks low, and the nasal ridge looks the same. It even seems like my nose looks upturned;; I’m seriously considering revision surgery. What should I do… Will it look okay once the swelling goes down, or should I at least get early reconstruction of the nostril wings? Ah, the nose surgery was really hard, and I feel like I’m going to get depressedㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ
꼬븍유지니 If it’s only been a week, let’s wait just a little longerㅜ It does look like it’s slightly upturned, but I’d watch it for at least 3 weeks to a month haha Which clinic was it??
Nwong They usually place it a bit higher because they predict it will drop. And because the nasal ridge and glabella are swollen too, you really need to wait about a month.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
