When I went for the surgery consultation, the doctor was totally an ice prince, giving off super cool vibes, but once the surgery was confirmed and from the day of surgery, he talked more than me ㅋㅋㅋ
First of all, it matched my needs, so even though the friendliness at the first consultation was lacking, I picked the place and had surgery. It was done under local anesthesia after 5 minutes of sedation.
After about an hour, they were finishing up and showed me the thread they removed from my nose, and seriously, whoa... I almost cursed. Then they showed me a mirror to look at the nose shape.
It was so high and big that I was flustered like, huh? But I thought it needed to be set to about this degree so I wouldn't regret it later, so I said okay.
On the first day, there was no swelling at all, but they shoved cotton wads into my nose, taped my face and taped my ears, then I went to the buffet in the hospital building, ate, and went home. There was no pain.
Sleeping at night was so hard. I couldn't breathe and couldn't lie down, so it felt so stuffy.
On day two, I went to have the cotton packed in my nose removed, got my inhales and exhales back, and went home, but as soon as I got home, my nose got blocked again because of a runny nose.
The long-awaited legendary swelling on day three.
I woke up in the morning, looked in the mirror, and burst out laughing. When I laughed, my nose pulled and I couldn't breathe.
I showered every day, but because of my ear, I couldn't wash my hair. Today I lay sideways on the bathroom floor and asked my boyfriend to wash it for me. It was seriously so embarrassing.
There is still an oily smell coming from my right sideburn, but half of me feels fresh..
From around 8 p.m., the facial swelling slowly started going down.
Next Monday, they'll remove the splint and unwrap my ear too, so I plan to wash my hair like a storm right away.
I'll come back after the splint comes off on Monday to leave a photo review. Chong chong ~
I hope I stay feeling good until I come back next week..
