My consultation was at opening time, so when I went there was no one there and it was comfortable. Seeing the director’s master’s and doctoral completion certificates in the consultation room made me trust them a bit more. When you go, they take a CT scan right away, you talk a little with the consultant about the direction of the surgery, and then you go into the consultation with the director. The director first looked at my nose and also looked at the CT images while explaining various things. Maybe because it is a hospital specializing in revision surgery, the director seemed very confident about nasal tip surgery. When I showed the photos I wanted and said I wanted this kind of feel, they showed me review photos from this hospital. On the CT images, my septal cartilage looked sufficient, so we discussed using septal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and silicone for the nasal bridge. The director felt very chic, but was kind, did not find my questions bothersome, and answered everything. Aftercare is lifelong. 2. ㅇㅂㄹ Plastic Surgery I went after lunch at my reservation time, and first of all there were quite a few people waiting. Also, when you enter the hospital, they have events for Botox, fillers, and things like that. Since the previous hospital did none of that at all, I immediately felt less attached to this place. First, they took a CT scan, I talked with the consultant about the surgery I wanted, and then waited. But I waited for an hour. Because of my next consultation appointment, I never got to see the director’s face.. While waiting, when I heard the director’s voice, they sounded really sweet and kind. It was a shame, but I had to go to the next hospital, so I left without the consultation.. The consultation reservation was 10,000 won, but since I could not have the consultation, I got a refund.
3. ㅎ Plastic Surgery Compared with the hospitals in Gangnam, the interior is slightly old-fashioned. But it felt like going to a neighborhood clinic, so it was friendly. As soon as I arrived, the consultation started directly with the director. The director first measured things like my face, the distance between my brows, and the width of my nose with a ruler, then drew on paper what my nose shape looked like from below and from the front. After that, they told me what they thought would be good for me to do. At this point they explained the surgical method, and it kind of felt like taking a class from a professor, so I liked it. They used various tools while explaining why it should not be done this way and should be done that way. I had seen the director’s blog, but hearing it like this made me trust them more. They also told me to print out the nose shape I wanted and bring it the day before surgery. They said they would look at it, decide what is possible and what is not, and use it as a reference during surgery. Looking at the surgical review photos, there seemed to be very natural-looking people and also more glamorous-looking people. It felt like they try to make it as close as possible to what you want. They said they do not use donated rib cartilage. They do provide aftercare. 4. ㄹㅋㅋ Plastic Surgery This one is also in Apgujeong, but the building and interior were a bit shabby.. heh When you go in and wait, the consultant takes photos and talks roughly about the surgical plan. Then after waiting, you meet the director. The director rapidly pointed out all the problems with my nose. It hurt a little, but it was factual, so it was just funny. Then they used Photoshop to do a virtual simulation, but it was not the style I wanted. heh The hospitals I went to earlier had slightly different surgical methods, so I asked exactly how they do it here. They said they also did not understand it when they were a resident, and that it is hard for patients to understand, so they just told me the name of the surgical method. And when I showed the nose shape I wanted, they said, “Ah, yes, yes,” but told me to go to their blog and look at straight-with-slight-curve noses. They said if I had questions, I could leave a comment on the blog with my name and they would tell me. It felt a bit like everything was being rushed. They said they remove rib cartilage in 15 minutes. Here too, they said my nose needs autologous costal cartilage. This hospital also does not use donated rib cartilage. I did not really like it, so I did not ask about aftercare.
