I had eye surgery here twice lol... Even when I buy just one thing, if it doesn’t fit me I can’t use it, so I search everything before buying. My personality is meticulous and I worry a lot, so it took me about a year to choose a hospital for eye revision surgery (the director who consulted me during the first surgery told me to just live with it, so I gave up and lived like that, but I absolutely couldn’t give up, so a few months later I started touring again, which is why it took a long time) I only looked at eye-specialty hospitals, joined basically every plastic surgery cafe, looked at review photos on plastic surgery apps, watched YouTube, and got a lot of help from this community too, so I gathered even bad reviews. This was exactly the hospital I liked, so after the consultation I paid right away. Maybe because it has only been open a few years and is not well known yet, or maybe because they are not aggressive with marketing, it was easy to make a reservation and the surgery date was set right away within 2 weeks.
Mine was eye revision surgery, and the biggest problem was that it was hard to open my eyes, close to ptosis. The additional problem was hollowness of the upper eyelids. A long time had also passed since my first double-eyelid surgery, so I had some skin sagging too. Through surgery, I had fat grafting and ptosis correction, and the line was raised. The line became higher, but the ptosis correction was insufficient (before surgery they said they would do it by incision, but I think it was non-incisional), so my eyes still looked sleepy and it seemed like the ptosis correction had loosened. I was stressed for 6 months, and after the director saw my condition, maybe they thought AS was needed, so I had a second surgery as AS.
After the second surgery, the line became lower than before surgery, but I have sunken eyes. Because the line became lower, it became almost like monolids or inner double eyelids, and my eyes looked plain, so I was upset. I thought the revision would be done by keeping the line as is and strengthening the ptosis correction, but I think there was a communication mistake. The director also isn’t the type to strongly say, let’s do it this way, I’m going to do it this way, and doesn’t force things; they try to listen as much as possible to what the patient wants. My personality was also just like, they did well on the first surgery so they’ll take care of it, so maybe because both of us are a bit frustrating in that way .. I hope other people make sure to tell the director specifically what they want and consult in detail about things like how many millimeters the line should be.
It’s a shame, but now I’ve more or less adapted and am living without major dissatisfaction. The double eyelid has become like an inner double eyelid, but because the line became lower, the strength to open my eyes also improved, and when I lower my gaze it seems less noticeable, so I think there are pros and cons. The eyes themselves also seem a bit bigger, so if the skin sags more later, I’ll think about revision surgery then. This time, I think they definitely did the ptosis correction by incision, but there is still a bit of sleepiness left, so I’m feeling regretful and wishing they had done just a little more.
Even though I had it twice, if someone asks whether I recommend the hospital, I recommend it. Especially, as I was too, there are many people who worry about ptosis correction because of side effects and concerns that it might go wrong. I had ptosis correction here twice, and it was done as safely as possible without side effects, so for eyes like mine that are close to ptosis, if you do it here you might even need revision surgery, and the bigger issue may be worrying that the ptosis correction will loosen. If you’re not that kind of person, I think you’ll be very satisfied with a very natural ptosis correction. They also design the line naturally with a youthful feel. The only thing is, the scar shape is a little different from other hospitals. Right after surgery, I worried, this scar might remain a bit.. It’s not like a sewing machine or anything, and even after getting revision surgery now, compared with then, it is healing naturally and well. If you aren’t extremely sensitive about scars, or if you have sunken eyes like me where the skin folds so it doesn’t show well even when you look down, you’ll probably think, this much is fineㅎ.. With eye makeup, it’s hardly noticeable too. I also had fat grafting up to the second session, and it is maintaining well without side effects or hollowness. I liked that it was harvested from the navel area and there was no scar. What was disappointing is that the operating-room nurses at the hospital felt like they were beginnersㅠ I had never once been told my veins were hard to see, but they couldn’t find the needle site properly and poked me several times, and they didn’t remove all the stitches from my eyes, so both times I pulled them out myself with finger scissors used for trimming eyebrows. Still, the people at the counter were generally all kind, and they cheered me on for the surgery to go well, so I was nervous when going to the hospital, but thanks to that I was at least able to receive the surgery more comfortably.
After surgery, I had worked so hard and searched so picky-ly, so I was upset that the result was different from what I thought, but in conclusion, because I worked that hard and found this kind of hospital, maybe instead of getting side effects or having it fail somewhere else, it ended up at least this decent. That’s how I feel .. I recommend this place. They try to do it naturally according to each person’s eyes. Of course, it differs depending on each person’s eyes, and even if I had no side effects, other people might, so you definitely need to consult carefully, look at other reviews too, and decide. But I thought it might help, so I wrote a long honest review.
