Since before getting breast surgery, I read a lot of reviews in this community, gained courage, and got a lot of information, so I’m leaving a review here too in case it helps ;)
I was completely flat,,,, so flat you could see my chest bones, to the point I could say I was a triple A ,, After having two kids, I was glad there was nothing to sag, but my breast elasticity also disappeared, so I looked even flatter ,, My skin is thin too.. They also said my breast pocket was very small. But ,,,, I finally got breast surgery!!! I live overseas, and an acquaintance who came from Korea had breast surgery, and it was so soft and natural-looking ,, So I decided I absolutely had to do it there, booked without even checking anywhere else, and came back to Korea ㅋㅋ But seriously, where did that courage come from ㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, it turned out so cleanly and nicely, so I’m satisfied with the surgery on day 6 ;)
I got Mentor Xtra Moderate Eight Plus 295 cc, and had the surgery through an inframammary incision. It’s now day 6. On the first day, I had surgery around Apgujeong, and my home was a little over an hour away by subway, so when I thought about having surgery alone and going home by myself, everything felt bleak. So I stayed one night at the affiliated hotel, and the next day they removed the bandages, put on the compression garment and upper bandage, and I slowly took the subway home. When they remove the bandages the day after surgery, make sure to bring silicone nipple patches. Your nipples will probably be irritated, so even if you wear loose clothes, it looked like they would show.. It was daytime, so there weren’t many people on the subway and I could sit comfortably, and it was bearable. I hadn’t expected it, but after breast surgery, the swelling in my abdomen and back was no joke. Others may have thought I was 7-8 months pregnant.
From the first day to the third day, there wasn’t much pain, but if I put even a little strength into my muscles, I had muscle pain that startled me, so I moved as little as possible. Thinking that there was a surgically opened area in my body made me not want to move ㅋㅋ So I slept on a recliner sofa, and when my back itched, I leaned my back against the wall and rubbed a bit ㅋㅋ I thought a back scratcher would be convenient. But then, what do you know ,, I was staying at my parents’ house and they had a back scratcher, so I used it to press my back like a massage and scratch a lot. A back scratcher is absolutely necessary.
From the fourth day, I could raise my arms a little more freely and the muscle pain was less. So I was able to do things like wash dishes and feed the kids.
On the fifth day, I felt like I could wash my hair with my head bent down. So I shampooed and conditioned by myself, carefully dried my hair too ,, Once I felt clean, my mood improved and it felt like recovery was faster too. But my abdominal swelling and waist swelling are still considerable ㅠㅠ I seem to have gained a little over 4 kg compared with before surgery, and I hope it’s swelling ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I should start walking a bit now.
Today is day 6, and I can drive short distances. I feel day by day that I’m recovering. On day 8, I’m going to have the stitches removed. Until then, I’ll wear the compression bra properly, take my medication properly, and go get checked. Does it hurt when the stitches are removed? The abdominal swelling will get better, right? It’s not my fat, right? ㅋㅋ
After breast surgery, many people say they have no sensation in the breast area, so right after it was over I touched the nipple area, and I could feel everything. There was no bruising either and it was clean, so I can’t tell you how relieved I am ,, I didn’t know either, but after having it done, I found out the hospital was very famous for breast reduction surgery. So I’m thinking maybe that’s why they were more delicate ,,, When I go to have the stitches removed, I’m hoping to hear that the surgical scars have healed neatly ㅠㅠ
