Silicone and ear cartilage removal (10 years)
When I opened my eyes in the morning, the swelling was so severe that my eyes were swollen shut. I barely managed to look by tilting my head up. haha
I went to the hospital and had it disinfected, and after doing some cold compresses at home, the swelling around my eyes went down a little and they returned to an eye shape. The swelling is still severe, and the middle of my forehead, around my eyes, beside my nose, and both sides of my face are still very swollen, but swelling should go down with time. I’m going to eat porridge, use compresses, and wait.
Because I have a splint on, I still can’t tell what the shape is like, but they told me not to remove it myself before the hospital removes it. They said it’s important for it to hold the shape well, and since we don’t use the facial muscles on both sides in exactly the same way, the shape could change accordingly. I’m going to follow their instructions carefully.
I’m taking my medicine well after meals. There isn’t any particular area with increased pain. It’s just that the splint feels stuffy, and my skin is itchy, so I want time to pass quickly so I can take it off.
I think I’ll only be able to talk about the shape or other things after watching the progress a bit more.
Everyone, stay strong.
