From a recessed chin to a V-line makeover~ 5 months after double jaw surgery!

Seeing is believing. Here come the photos~ haha Comparison shots with before-and-after photos for everyone!! It’s been a little over five months since my double jaw surgery... Before the consultation, I thought I would need protruding mouth surgery, but after I went in and heard the explanation, they said I would need double jaw surgery. So I talked it over with my parents, and after a difficult discussion they agreed, so I had the surgery. When I was super swollen right after surgery, I kept worrying, Is this really me? When will all this swelling go down? and took care of myself a lot... At first there was so much swelling.. it was puffy like I had two candies in my mouth~ then all of a sudden the swelling dropped in a way that was really noticeable, and after that it seemed to go down little by little, little by little? It seems like you need a lot of patience^^;;;;;;;;; Until a little over a month had passed, it still looked like two candies? Or maybe half a candy?ㅋㅋ That much swelling was still left, like something was in my mouth. I felt like I had really, truly done well only after it went down a bit more~ Of course, it has all gone down now. Waiting for the swelling to go down feels like the real hurdle Even when I looked in the mirror, my mouth had gone in, but my cheeksㅠㅠㅠ Whether you had double jaw surgery like me… or any other surgery, I think you need a lot of patience because you have to wait until all the swelling is gone and it looks naturalㅠ Patience, patience, patience!!! There is blessing for those who endure....... Everyone, don’t rush too much~~. Still, I’m happy because I feel like my face shape, which had been a lifelong complex for me, has changed a lotㅋㅋㅋ In the before-surgery front view, I was not bowing my head to make it look like thatㅠㅠㅠㅠ It was because of a severe recessed chin and protruding mouth........ It looked almost the same at 3 months and now, so I’m not posting the current photo~ Anyway, my side profile turned out completely pretty ㅋㅋㅋㅋ These days, when I take photos, I end up taking a lot of 45-degree angles or side profiles^^;; After a little over a month, my jawline started showing, and that was nice too.. Before surgery, my face shape had this sort of... ostrich-like feeling??? That kind of thing because my chin was so lacking... For the first 1 to 2 weeks after double jaw surgery, my upper lip was very swollen and the anesthesia hadn’t fully worn off, so smiling felt awkward, but around 3 weeks later, when I smiled I could see both my upper and lower teeth, and people around me also said I had changed a lot and looked prettier. My mom worried the most, but she said it seems to have turned out wellㅋㅋ Until not long ago, I could barely feel anything, but these days it seems to be slowly coming back, with tingling and prickly feelings too.. Since it was such a big surgery, they said I have to wait 6 months for all the sensation to return.......ㅠ Will 6 months be enough? It has to be enough... I feel like I may need a bit more time....^^; For those who had double jaw surgery first~ how can I get the sensation back faster?~? Please give me some advice~~~ But I want to put in photos, how do I do that if I want to add them? It’s hard...
