I decided on double-jaw surgery because, since middle school, asymmetry made me feel psychologically uncomfortable and withdrawn whenever I took photos. At a dental clinic, I was diagnosed as a double-jaw surgery case, so I decided to have double-jaw surgery!ㅠ I worried a lot about choosing a clinic, but I thought a private clinic would provide better one-on-one care than a university hospital, and the clinic atmosphere felt friendly and they showed many surgical results, so I chose EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery After 6 months from surgery, it has become really natural haha. At first I was very worried and nervous, but as time passed, I clearly felt that this decision was truly a good choice. ha The difficult parts right after surgery have now almost all disappeared, and I can live without discomfort in daily life. I can comfortably eat hard or tough foods now, and I’m enjoying meals with no problems, just like before. The swelling has almost all gone down, and my facial line has improved a lot too! Especially since the asymmetry has improved a lot, every time I look in the mirror it feels amazing and makes me happy. haha Before surgery, I always felt uncomfortable when taking photos or smiling in front of people, but now I’m so happy that I can smile naturally without those worries! My confidence has also increased a lot, and I’m living much more comfortably than before. People around me also react very positively when they see the change, so I feel good. When they say I look better than before, I feel proud too! It was hard at first, but the result after going through that hardship is truly satisfying. Even if I could go back, I think it’s a decision I wouldn’t regret, and I feel grateful to myself for deciding on this surgery. haha As 6 months have passed after double-jaw surgery, I’ve completely returned to daily life. Now it has become so natural that I don’t feel like someone who needed surgery at all, and I’m really satisfied with the result. I also want to give confidence to people who are hesitating about surgery! haha
