<Reason I had surgery at this hospital> My nasal bone broke and the nasal dorsum was badly torn, so I was going to go to an ENT clinic, but I thought it would be better aesthetically to get it sutured at a plastic surgery clinic if possible. When I searched, I found ㅋㅋㄹㅇ, ㅂ, ㄱㄴㅅㅁㄷㄹ (this place felt less like a typical plastic surgery hospital and more like a local clinic where people in the neighborhood also receive ENT care). For me, the most important factors were 1. "Single director" I thought that if one director runs it, they are doing business under their own name, so they would operate responsibly and well, and rapport with the director would also form well. 2. "Operating period" I thought that the fact that a hospital had been open for a long time meant it had been operating well without accidents for that long. 3. "The consultant manager’s professionalism" Even after just exchanging a few words, you can roughly sense how much knowledge the consultant manager has and how long they’ve been doing this. It’s not exact, but at this place the consultant manager seemed to have been there since opening. That meant the consultant manager’s professionalism and the hospital’s reliability went up a lot for me. 4. Nose surgery expertise I hoped for someone with more expertise and a lot of fracture surgery experience (an otolaryngology specialist), not just a cosmetic surgeon. Especially, I wanted to go to a hospital that specialized only in noses. If a place has been around for a long time in expensive Gangnam while operating on just one area, that would inspire a lot of trust, right? So in conclusion, I chose the ㅋㅋㄹㅇ hospital. <Surgical area> As I said, I had a consultation for a nasal fracture, but after taking a CT scan, they said I also needed surgery for a "deviated nasal septum" and rhinitis. And they said that when doing septal surgery, cartilage comes out, and that cartilage could be used to raise the nasal tip. At the time, I only intended to treat the fracture, but the doctor kindly explained three directions. 1. If I had cosmetic surgery in mind, then do the septum at the same time and use the cartilage from the nasal septum to raise the nasal tip for cosmetic rhinoplasty 2. If I would do cosmetic surgery later, then operate only on the fracture 3. If I had no plans for cosmetic surgery later, then do surgery for the fracture and deviated nasal septum only I was flustered because cosmetic surgery suddenly came up, but when I thought about it calmly, my hump nose was very severe and I had considered surgery in the past. I felt trust that if it were this doctor, I could believe in him and entrust it to him, so in the end I proceeded with option 1. ------------------------------------------------------------------ <Surgery review> One month has passed now, and my satisfaction with the surgery is 100%. In my opinion, operating on a complex gives such high satisfaction. That’s why they say breast surgery has the highest satisfaction for women. If I have a complex about any body part, I think it’s so much happier to have surgery even one year earlier and get rid of that complex. My girlfriend, who watched me for a month, said she would also get nose surgery here and even had a consultation on my last visit, so that says it all haha. And I liked that the doctor looked at things and said no to what couldn’t be done, and didn’t force anything unreasonable.
