Right after surgery in January this year, one side kept bleeding. I went to the hospital, and they said it was because it hadn’t healed yet, so I thought it would get better. I kept being busy and just went on with things, and there was no heat sensation and no smell, but pus kept coming out of my nose ㅠ But because of work, I only went a few days ago, and they said it looked like inflammation and that everything in my nose needed to be removed (silicone + septal cartilage + ear cartilage). I have to do it this Saturday, but I think the inflammation has been there for a long time. The doctor (I couldn’t meet the surgeon in charge of the surgery and met the treatment doctor) said the inflammation may not be severe, so after irrigation they might be able to cover it again, or they might remove it (the way they spoke leaned more toward removal). They said my nose would go back to how it was before surgery ㅠ But when I searched, it said contracture can happen. It has been 6 months since my nose surgery, and it’s very hard, so I’m worried that contracture might already be progressing now. If contracture progresses, I feel like I’ll die ㅠㅠ My job is a teacher, so I have to stand in front of children. How am I supposed to live with a contracted nose? ㅠㅠ Does anyone know any methods to prevent contracture???
