It’s already been 4 months since I had three facial contouring procedures (square jaw + cheekbones + chin tip)! Even up to the 1-month mark, I still had a lot of swelling and my sensation hadn’t fully come back, so honestly there were times when I wondered, is this right…? But I think with facial contouring, time really is the answer!! As time passes, it really settles in so naturally~ But seeing my face change in a definite way, I think it would be right to say I finally feel a bit relieved now~ As I wrote in my previous review, this surgery isn’t just something you do because you want to become prettier; it’s more like you do it because you want to reduce the structural heaviness, stuffiness, or angularity your face has, right? For me too, my cheekbones, chin tip, and square jaw felt especially prominent on my face, so I honestly didn’t like how I looked from the front, the side, or even at a 45-degree angle... Now that I’m 4 months post-op, I definitely feel like everything has settled into place, and I don’t think there’s any visible swelling left! If you ask what the biggest change is, especially the cheekbone line has softened, and it feels like my facial features are gathered more toward the center? Would that explanation help? I liked that this kind of flow appeared! There are still some areas around the chin tip where the sensation is dull, but when I look in the mirror every day, I feel like it’s gradually coming back, and I’m living with the thought that this is now adjusting to fit my face, I guess? Honestly, with facial contouring surgery, I think the time spent fighting my own patience and emotional ups and downs during recovery was longer than the surgery itself. Every day I looked in the mirror and placed hope in tiny changes only I could notice, and on some days I’d suddenly get depressed thinking, “This looks weird?”... When that repeats, it’s harder on your mental state than your physical strength. So I really felt even more strongly that postoperative care is truly the key for this surgery, seriously. When I went to the clinic, I realized how important it is to have a system that provides one-on-one care and checks on you according to a schedule even after surgery, and every time I received care like ultrasound, radiofrequency, or lymphatic massage, I thought, ah~ I made a good choice! Of course, I still don’t think this is the final result! They say the face continues to change for 6 months, or even up to 1 year at the longest, so I’m just going to watch those changes without getting impatient!!!!
