As I’m approaching my mid-30s, I think my nose surgery was a good decision When everyone in my family had a high nose, I was the only one who always had a wide, low nose, so I lived with constant stress But with school classes, part-time jobs, and work, I just couldn’t find time for surgery I kept thinking about it over and over, but because I had no time, I couldn’t do it In the end, I had surgery after I passed my 30s It was vacation time I had taken to travel with the boyfriend I was dating, but I suddenly got broken up with......... So I thought, fine, during this vacation, let’s get my nose done! From then on, for 2 weeks I searched through hospitals where nose surgery was possible 1. First, while looking at review photos, I searched for directors who did nose surgeries in the shape I liked and narrowed it down to about 10 2. I first called around to ask whether that director could do my surgery during my vacation (When would I go in person.... I didn’t have time for that) 3. For hospitals where the schedule matched, I then coordinated consultation times (I had to visit several places in one day: I went whenever I had gaps during commuting time and lunch breaks) 4. Price is important......... (my maximum was 5 million KRW) 5. This is the most important. You also have to find photos of nose shapes that do not suit your face -> I think the nose has the biggest impact on things like the eyes, face shape, and overall vibe, so no matter how pretty someone else’s nose is, what matters most is whether it suits my face. Absolutely do not get greedy about the nose shape or nasal bridge 6. I really debated between autologous costal cartilage, donated rib cartilage, and ear cartilage ㅠㅠㅠㅠ (In the end, I chose ear cartilage. I didn’t want to leave a scar on my chest from autologous costal cartilage) After getting nose surgery like this, I’m very satisfied...!!!! They said I’m the type who doesn’t bruise much to begin with, so they removed all the nasal packing cotton the next day. I didn’t have much bruising or swelling in the first place, and my face was done naturally, as if I had or hadn’t done anything, in a way that suited my overall vibe I can’t believe how nice it is to take photos of my side profile Downsides) - I’m not hugely bothered by them 1. My left nasal cavity was narrow from the beginning, but after raising the nasal bridge, the skin got pulled, so it has felt like less air goes in on the left side for 1 year now (When I breathe in, my left nostril doesn’t move well) 2. Even now, it’s a bit uncomfortable to blow my nose hard -> I can’t blow it refreshingly like “hmph!” After washing my face, I dig inside my nose with a cotton swab 3. I still have the blackheads that formed while I had the splint on..... 4. Since it wasn’t the head director.... they opened their own clinic after my surgery, so it feels a bit ambiguous.....
