My mom took me to a general dental clinic that wasn’t a specialist in orthodontics, and they only extracted one upper and one lower tooth, so my teeth gradually twisted to one side, and not only my face but also my pelvis and lower back became asymmetrical.
Every dental clinic I went to for treatment asked why they did the extractions like that? Please.. even if it’s expensive, I hope you do it properly with a specialistㅠㅠ
I also didn’t wear the retainer properly, so my protrusion came back againㅜㅜ
When I got re-orthodontic treatment as an adult, unlike the old metal braces, I used Damon Clear, so there was no pain from wires poking me, and it was really easy.
Of course, the photos I took over those 1.5 years are only a handful because that was my absolute worst appearance.. but after the treatment ended, I really thought it was the right thing to do.
