Before <before surgery> After <3 months after revision surgery> After <3 months after revision surgery> After <3 months after revision surgery> I first had non-incisional ptosis correction and it failed, then I had incisional ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty and that failed again, so I lived holding onto a crease that would not come down. With the hope that this would really be my last chance, I had revision eye surgery at The Regen, and it has now been a little over 3 months! Before surgery, makeup was not fun even when I wore it, and taking selfies was the most stressful thing. Before surgery, I really only had full-body photos, and even those were only photos taken from behind. I had surgery to become prettier, but the result was awful, so I was really upset. Opening my eyes was so hard and they felt heavy, so I was often told I looked sleepy, and because my eyes were actually half-closed, I was also often asked if I was unhappy about something. After surgery, honestly, without even needing to say it, my quality of life went way up! There is not even a bit of heaviness in my eyes.. and I no longer hear that I look sleepy. Instead, my friends ask where I had surgery and ask me to introduce them to the clinic. After surgery, when there was still some swelling, lol, I even had many nightmares that my eyes were going back to how they used to be, but now I do not have those nightmares anymore! I am so, so happy. Taking selfies has become my joy, you know lol My eyes also got bigger, and putting on makeup is really fun.. Every time I go in for a follow-up, I literally bow 90 degrees to the director ㅠㅠㅠ because I am so grateful.. And even when I go for follow-ups after time has passed, the consultant and director are still kind, and whenever I have questions, I message the consultant right away and they take good care of me, so it was really great! How nice would it have been if I had done it here from the beginning! I would not have had to go through all this stress.. I do have thoughts like that! But I am trying to let those thoughts go lol
As someone who really, really suffered emotionally because of my eyes.. If I could give one piece of advice to those who are about to have eye surgery.. Do not, absolutely do not, have surgery just because you are tempted by a cheap price ㅜㅜ or because it is close to home!! You really need to do both in-person consultations and thorough online research, and compare everything carefully!
