A few months ago, after I hit my nose hard from below upward, it feels like the part where cartilage was put in the nasal tip and the columella area have separated. When I touch it, it also feels like it sinks in.. And since then, the columella area suddenly drooped downward in a more rounded way. That area keeps throbbing too.. Could this be that the support has separated from the ear cartilage in the nasal tip and collapsed(??)? Inside the nose, especially the connection between the nasal-tip ear cartilage and the columella, and sometimes the columella area too, has a sharp stinging sensation... It’s not just pain; it also stings like when water gets into the nose and throbs.. Ah.. I don’t know exactly how to describe it. I’ve had surgery twice, and the doctor at the place where I had the second surgery says the nasal bridge was Gore-Tex, the nasal tip was ear cartilage, and that they did not use a support, but I somehow think the first place used ear cartilage as a support. Can a doctor tell by touching it? Also, because I’ve bumped into things here and there, I don’t think the Gore-Tex in my nasal bridge is in normal condition either. From the glabella area where the Gore-Tex was inserted down along the bridge, around the middle of the nasal bridge there is a slightly sunken area, though not severe, and at home it doesn’t look that way, but when I went to E-Mart before and looked in the mirrors placed here and there, my nasal bridge was not straight; it looked bent in the middle. I went to the previous clinic and told the doctor, but they said there’s no way and talked as if I was being sensitive, but when I went to consult at another place and mentioned it, they said the Gore-Tex may have broken inside the nose and remained that way...... If it’s just broken and sitting there, I can tolerate it. At a glance, there isn’t a major issue with the shape. But the problem is that, as I said earlier, there is pain at the connection area of the nasal tip, and the more serious thing is that these days the nasal bridge area keeps showing heat sensation, swelling, and redness. I think I probably need to have it removed. But it has been about 7 to 8 years since my surgery, so I don’t remember my old face well. I only remember that my glabella was very low. Even when I look at old photos, I can’t really gauge itㅠㅠ On top of that, I can’t know how much Gore-Tex was put in my nasal bridge, so I want to check this and estimate how much lower it will become, then prepare myself mentally before deciding on removal. To find this out, should I get an X-ray? Or CT or MRI??? What method would be good? And if possible, I would like to remove only the Gore-Tex from the nasal bridge, but then would the connection to the nasal tip look very awkward? No, more than that, seeing as the columella area is throbbing and all, it would be right to remove everything, wouldn’t it? ㅠㅠ
