I have rhinoplasty scheduled next week. As you can see in the photo, I have a slight hump, and my nasal tip is blunt... The bone in the nasal bridge area is also a bit wide. I saw that many people in this community are removing silicone, so for my nasal bridge, I’m thinking of only shaving the hump without silicone insertion or osteotomy, and for the nasal tip, only using ear cartilage and cartilage suturing. I told the doctor that too. I only want to improve the shortcomings of my own nose. I’m not hoping for a dramatic celebrity nose ㅠㅠ I think shaving the hump a little will improve the wide nasal bridge, so I’m not planning on osteotomy.. because many people say it’s better not to touch the bone. For the nasal tip too, after reading posts here, I struggled a lot between septal cartilage and ear cartilage.. and decided on ear cartilage. But after reading posts again today, there are many posts saying that if you use ear cartilage, it will 100% droop after a few years. Septal cartilage makes the nasal tip hard, causes a foreign-body sensation, and is a part that is better not to touch if possible. Ear cartilage is less hard than septal cartilage, but it gets absorbed and droops. It seems like these are the differences. Is that right? My nasal tip is a huge complex for me, so I really want to improve it..ㅠㅠ Everyone, between septal cartilage and ear cartilage, which do you think is the best choice? Please answer ㅜㅜ
