Hi! I’m concerned about my bulbous nose tip, so I’ve been going around for consultations, and I’ve been to four places, but everything they said was so different that I’m really torn... I’m posting because I want to get some objective help based on my photos about choosing a clinic, nas well as osteotomy and under-eye fat repositioning + fat grafting. I’m also wondering if I made my decision while focusing too much only on the quote... I’ve made a reservation at clinic No. 3, but there are so many private posts that I’m worried. First, my situation is 1. Wherever I go, they say my nasal bridge is not low. 2. I want to improve my bulbous nose. I want to make my broad nose as slim as possible. 3. I prefer no implant, and it would be good if septal cartilage + ear cartilage are used. 4. I’m only thinking about the nasal tip, more or less. First, I’ll share the results from my visits and the quotes. 1. - Columella extension + bulbous nose correction (cartilage binding + septal cartilage + ear cartilage) + lowering the alar rims for alar retraction - I had a CT scan and consultation. There was a consultation fee. - They said the alar retraction area could look pinched if done wrong, so cartilage would need to be added to improve this area. (I’d never had a reason to look into this part of my nose in my life, and I first found out it was alar retraction at this consultation.) But they explained it in great detail... The explanation was really good. If the price had fit, I would definitely have done it here. - Other than that, they said I didn’t need to do anything to the nasal bridge or nostril wings, so they didn’t push excessive recommendations, which made me think it was pretty good? I had another consultation with the consultant, then heard the price and came out shocked lol.. - Original price 5.5 million, event + same-day reservation applied 4.6 million 2. - Reservation deposit = there was a consultation fee - The bridge between my eyebrows is a bit low, but they said I could just get about 0.3 cc of filler either before or after surgery. It’s not something that needs to be solved surgically. - They said the alar retraction wasn’t something to worry about much, and they only used to do it for people who were extremely stressed about it. These days, both the director and patients don’t have high satisfaction with it, so they don’t perform it. They were cool about it. - They said I only need bulbous nose correction to the extent I want. - Just 3.6 million 3. - Bulbous nose correction + slightly raising the columella (**thinking about osteotomy) = 2.5 million If including osteotomy, 3.3 million (about 800,000 extra) - Under-eye fat repositioning event price is 790,000, fat grafting is an extra 600,000 - CT scan and consultation, no consultation fee, but I ended up bothering the consultant a lot haha.. Well, I had waited an hour and a half... - Another director is good at under-eye fat repositioning too, so I thought it would be good to receive it from that director and got a consultation for it together since I was already there. - The director looked at my nose, and really examined it while touching it endlessly. I hesitantly said I’d brought one photo of the nose I wanted.. and they said, “Ah! Please show me,” and kept looking back and forth between my nose and the photo, saying, “Hmm.. hmm..” They said to make sure to show it again on the day of surgery too, and that they would proceed while looking at it. So I thought I should find more photos lol.. - Then they recommended osteotomy ㅠ I did think, suddenly..? But they said if I really want it as slim as I want while I’m already doing surgery, osteotomy would be effective and could make it look nicely slim, but that it’s optional. I’m torn because as I get older, I feel like my current nose width might look natural and pretty, so maybe I don’t need it: - Under-eye fat repositioning 790,000 won, this is an event price with a different director specified - The price was good, so I paid the reservation deposit, but if I add fat grafting, it doesn’t seem that cheap...? That price includes photos and writing a review. 4. - Bulbous nose correction + thin silicone on nasal bridge 2.64 million, osteotomy extra 1 million - Under-eye fat repositioning including fat grafting 1.58 million - It’s a clinic from a director who is famous for Cogeleko, and the other directors all have long careers too, so I went once. - Consultation with Director Kim - They said the tissue at my nose tip is firm, so if I only do bulbous nose correction, I won’t be very satisfied, and that when I’m doing one surgery, I should do everything that can be done (osteotomy, matching the height difference with silicone on the nasal bridge while making the tip higher, the nasal bridge between the eyebrows) - This was the first time I heard about my nasal skin/tissue characteristics.. so I became really worriedㅠㅠ If that’s the case, doesn’t bulbous nose correction already have no meaning..? - The clinic itself seems to do more forehead upper blepharoplasty, under-eye fat repositioning, and things like that. - But the price for under-eye fat repositioning + fat grafting isn’t bad, so I’m also wondering if I should do only the nose at No. 3 and do under-eye fat repositioning + fat grafting here at No. 4; 1. Do I absolutely need osteotomy for a dramatic result? ㅠ When I showed the last photo, clinic No. 3 brought up osteotomy. It’s not that I necessarily want that exact nose.. (I only want that kind of round, slim nose-tip feel) Honestly, osteotomy worries me even after doing it, and they say it changes your impression a lot, so that’s what I’m most concerned about. No. 3 and No. 4 are both similar in price too, so which clinic would be better??? 2. Under-eye fat repositioning + fat grafting No. 3 says my face would gain a lot from doing it, and No. 4 says their clinic always includes it and that I currently need grafting, so in the end I think it’s right to do the grafting. The problem is, what if I get the grafting and it gets absorbed?? I’m preparing for my wedding. They say I should not lose weight and should keep things the same for at least a month.. sigh.. Please help me choose a clinic. I’d appreciate your valuable opinions... I’ll delete my photos later~~!!
미르토 Even if you don’t do osteotomy, I honestly don’t really think it looks like a broad nose, but usually if people want no implant and want to look slimmer, they do get osteotomy! Are you thinking of doing the nose without silicone? Can I recommend a clinic? It’s a clinic I’m not going to, though.. hahaha
으딩딩구 [@Mirto] Oh wow, right, I’m thinking no implant ㅠㅠ Even if it settles down a little later, I’m determined not to get revision surgery, so I won’t build it up excessively, and I don’t want removal either... Please recommend one. I’m thinking of surgery in the summer anyway, so until then I’m planning to keep going around diligently while saving money!!
익명 Hmm.. It seems like you kind of like your current nose... Do you really need surgery? Your current nose tip looks round and firm, so I don’t think you really need osteotomy. If you do osteotomy, only the bridge will look slim, and it may become unbalanced toward the tipㅠㅠ Also, both photos have a Jinseok kind of feel, and to correct a bulbous nose, the tip needs to be lifted a bit pointily, but then there will definitely be a height difference. I recommend thin silicone for the bridge. And I don’t think you need to do anything for the alar retraction haha
furi Because it’s a bulbous nose, the quotes were really all over the placeㅠ Look into it carefully
으딩딩구 [@Mirto] Oh~ thank you! I should go check it out! Since I’m mainly looking at no-implant options, if three people clearly had good results, it seems worth getting a consultation!! Thank you!!
으딩딩구 [@] From the front, my current nose tip looks really heavy and spread out, so my nose just looks big.. ㅠㅠ I won’t do osteotomy!! Thank you!!
윤설아112 [@Mirto] Could you maybe tell me where it is too..??? I’m also thinking no implant ㅠ

I’m a man, and my nose used to have a slight hump, but it wasn’t high and was small, so it didn’t have a masculine feel, and it didn’t really look handsome either. This time, I had surgery with Director Kim Ji-hoon at Ppeulli Plastic Surger
