Seems Like Surgery Is What Gives Real, Clear Improvement

It’s not like I had zero plans for surgery, but for anyone torn between fillers and surgery, I’d recommend surgery whenever possible! My nasal tip looked really spread out, like the tip was being pressed down. And I also had a severe hump; I had thought about surgery too, but I had already been getting fillers in my forehead and chin tip consistently before, and I had no side effects and the results held up well, so I figured I’d try fillers first. Ah, when my body got hot or cold or when the weather was hot or cold, the treated area would sometimes look slightly red. Anyway, I thought surgery would definitely be noticeable, and I had the impression that fillers are natural... But maybe I was too careless, or maybe the nose was different, because for a few days after the procedure it looked sharp and the hump was gone, so I was happy, but as time passed the spreading became noticeably obvious. So at first I wondered if the filler had been absorbed, but comparing it with photos from before showed that it really had spread.. The money felt wasted, and I had no idea dissolving filler would hurt this much.. The day I dissolved the filler, I decided to have surgery. Since the reason I chose fillers in the first place was naturalness, I looked mainly for hospitals known for natural-looking surgery, and I researched ㅈㅇ, ㅈㅅ, and ㅈㅇㅈㅇ! Looking at reviews again, I was surprised that you really can have surgery with no obvious signs and still make it look very natural.. After visiting the three places, I was torn between ㅈㅇ and ㅈㅅ, but I wanted to use no implant for the bridge too, so I finally chose ㅈㅇ! First, during the consultation with the director, they explained the necessary parts clearly and concisely, and when I said I didn’t want silicone, they asked why; when I said I wanted to avoid implants as much as possible because of inflammation concerns too, they explained the glutealized material to me. I had never heard of that material before, so I was like, what is that? But they explained the surgical method. When I asked whether many first-time surgery patients use this, they said people who want surgery with costal cartilage usually generally get this. But there didn’t seem to be many reviews or photos yet, so I did hesitate. More than anything, it was more expensive than regular costal cartilage, hehe. Still, I liked that it would let me get the line and height I wanted, and that it was no-implant, so I decided to go ahead with surgery. 1 week: The swelling was absolutely insane. It was my first surgery ever, so... I honestly didn’t know it would swell this much, and I was worried something had gone wrong. I actually sent photos to the coordinator every few days asking if the swelling was okay.. 2 weeks: Bruising changed from purple/blue to yellow. Once bruising turns yellow, it disappears soon, so I wasn’t too worried about that, but my face looked mottled so it was kind of funny.. The swelling seemed to have gone down just a tiny bit compared with the one-week mark. When I went in for the day-7 checkup, I told the director and the coordinator I was worried because the swelling was.. way too severe, and they did swelling laser for a long time and said not to worry because it would all go down with time.. but I was still very worried.. My family even asked me every time they saw me if I was really okay.. 1 month: From this point on, the swelling really started to drop fast.. I guess this was when I finally started to look like a person again.. From then on I started looking forward to what I’d look like after everything settled. They say swelling varies by body type, and I guess I’m someone who swells a lot and doesn’t go down easily.. Before surgery, I honestly didn’t know whether I swelled easily or whether my swelling tended to linger, but I found out through this surgery Anyway, if you’re interested in surgery, I recommend getting a consultation first!
