I went for a consultation about complete removal

I am entering week 5 after surgery, and because of my changed image, I have been wearing a mask and glasses every single day. The hardest part is that because they put in a columellar strut, my philtrum looks longer and my upper lip looks lifted. The hospital says it will gradually come down and that we should wait until 3 months. When I said I wanted removal, they said complete dissection is easy, the surgery only takes 30 minutes, and I can return to my previous image. The bridge height is also similar to before, but the problem is the nasal tip. Since cartilage tying was done and there was manipulation, they said the shape cannot be predicted and the middle of the nasal bridge may become slightly indented.. When I asked if they would reposition the cartilage, they said that is also manipulation, and that once they dissect it, that is it. Is repositioning definitely necessary? Waiting 3 months is too hard day by day. My mom is also very upset seeing me like this. I feel guilty, wondering what kind of unfilial thing I am doing at this grown age..... Even when I look at the community board, there are people who say they are glad they removed it and people who say they regret it... In the end, the choice and the result are mine to accept, but.. it is hard... If I remove it right now without thinking about anything, I think my mind would feel at ease, but after taking off the splint... that will probably be the hardest part... The waiting, the difficult contracture period, and the nostrils that may or may not lift.... If I do end up removing it, I hope I can become hope for people who have the same concerns as me... So I should participate in this community even more actively. Another day full of worries passes like this.
