1-year LASEK review First, when I first got LASEK, I saw about a million reviews saying that for 3 days your eyes hurt and daily life is so uncomfortable, so before surgery I bought a sleep aid and spent all 3 days sleeping at least 18 hours a day. For those 3 days, it’s a period when your eyes hurt whether you close them or open them, so I really strongly recommend spending it sleeping..bb After that, well, my vision just more or less recovered, and even now after 1 year, glare is still just as severe, my eyes got dry, and sometimes I feel a scratchy? sensation. Before LASEK, I had never once felt that my eyes were dry. I had never used artificial tears. But after LASEK, I also developed slight eye stinging.. Still, even if I went back, I think I’d do it again. It’s so convenient.
