Ever since I was young, my nose was a really big complex for me, so I kept thinking that I would get nose surgery someday. But as I looked up a lot of information about rhinoplasty, I felt that raising the nasal bridge and putting an implant inside the nose had really serious side effects and would not give me the natural look I wanted. While I was still debating, I saw a YouTuber’s review and found out about Unimedi. I could clearly see that with alar reduction alone, the nasal tip looked lifted and the overall volume of the nose was reduced a lot. I made an appointment right away and had a consultation with the consultant. She said my nasal tip was already lifted, so I only needed alar reduction without nasal tip surgery. I had 1 alar thickness reduction, 2 alar curvature improvement, 3 minimal-incision intranasal alar reduction, and 4 alar drooping improvement. The price was quite expensive... The anesthesia was local anesthesia, and it did hurt, as expected, but thinking about my nose after surgery, I think it was bearable. Tears came out automatically.. The surgery took about 1 hour, and immediately afterward was when my nose looked the most pinched and small. But as time passed, it became much more natural, and the nostrils also became natural. So in conclusion, I’m living very satisfied after the surgery!! I had gone around to many hospitals before too, and they all told me I definitely needed silicone, but I would have regretted it if I had put something in my nose. I never thought my nose could improve with alar reduction alone. Of course, if the reason your nose looks bulbous is not the alae to begin with, or if your alae are thick or droopy, then silicone and nasal tip surgery may be unavoidable. But if only the alae are the issue, like in my case, I think it would be good to consider alar reduction!
