Hi, I had surgery at another hospital 10 years ago with osteotomy + silicone on the nasal bridge + septal cartilage for the nasal tip, and after 1 year the septal cartilage protruded inside my nose, so I had removal surgery, and then lived like that until recently, when I had revision surgery.
First of all, Cocoline was on my consultation list when I had my first surgery, but after consulting at the first hospital I visited, I booked there, so I never even had a consultation at Cocoline. Since I wasn’t satisfied with my first surgery, I kept thinking about Coco, and after deciding on revision surgery after 10 years, I also went around and consulted at several other places, and eventually at Cocoline I had crooked nose correction + bulbous nose correction (septal cartilage + ear cartilage) + alar lift surgery!
At the time of my first surgery, I was young too, and I wanted a flashy nose that looked somewhat obviously done, you know? But I have a long bulbous noseㅋㅋㅋ Back then, I didn’t really know that it might be difficult to get a flashy nose from a long~ bulbous nose, and I got seduced by what the consultant at that hospital said and had surgery, but the reality was a total fail. Only my nose bridge got higher, and the bulbous nose wasn’t improved at all..ㅠㅠ So for 10 years, while looking at my nose and feeling all kinds of things, I painfully realized that the most important thing in plastic surgery is /changing within a safe range/. And Cocoline has long been famous as a place that’s good at nasal tip surgery, so that was one of the big reasons I decided on it. Also, unlike consultants at plastic surgery and dermatology clinics who somehow try to increase sales, the consultant here was genuinely calm and gentle, with no pressure at all, to the point where I thought to myself, “...do people still book even without this much pressure?”ㅋㅋㅋ After receiving a sincere consultation, I decided on surgery!! And among the many hospitals I visited, there were directors with good manners, but there were also people seriously stuck in laziness and mannerism ㅡㅡ with awful character. The director here made me feel comfortable during the consultation, and I could feel that. He told me which parts would be good to improve overall on my nose, and if not, he also gave me option 2, saying it might be good to just do certain parts. For me, an uppercase J in MBTI, it was a very good, easy-to-understand, and refreshing consultationㅋㅋ At my first surgery, they didn’t reduce the nasal tip area either (they said it could look pinchedㅡㅡ and that my nose was ambiguous...) and alar lift wasn’t even mentioned, but I still think, what if I had done it here from the beginning.. even after having the surgery! Anyway, I’m very, very satisfied with Cocoline!
