Honestly, when I think about it, I wasn’t the type to want a super dramatic improvement like everyone who posts rhinoplasty reviews. My original nose already had some height, and I was only unhappy with the hump and a bit of the shape. When I was in school (when none of us were getting plastic surgery lol), I often heard that my nose was pretty. Since it already had some height and wasn’t a nose that needed major improvement, even when I had complaints, I didn’t really want surgery for no reason. (I really hated the idea of getting labeled as someone who had surgery when it wasn’t a big problem without it.) Still, the things that bothered me did bother me, so I lived being satisfied with fillers or Hiko nose thread lifts and things like that ㅎ.. But for the hump that bothered me the most, filler couldn’t fix it, this bridge area between the eyebrows lol... So I just lived with it more or less, and what gave me a reason for rhinoplasty was rhinitis. My rhinitis was really severe. I didn’t even know there was something called functional rhinoplasty, but they said rhinoplasty could be done while doing rhinitis surgery. Do I really need surgery for rhinitis? Do I really need surgery for my nose? I thought, but when I heard both could be done at once, I started wanting it. So I searched and searched for the best place for functional rhinoplasty and had surgery lol After surgery, my impression is, um... I really think I’m glad I did it. It’s nice that the little things that bothered me were solved all at once, and the rhinoplasty doesn’t look that obvious, while all the parts I found bothersome were fixed. My rhinitis was also well controlled, so breathing is seriously comfortable lol If anyone has rhinitis and needs a reason for rhinoplasty, I really, really recommend looking into functional rhinoplasty.
