I’m looking into revision surgery for a crooked nose, and some places say I need to use autologous costal cartilage, while others say septal cartilage and donor rib cartilage would be enough. For my first surgery, I only had silicone put in the nasal bridge, so my septal cartilage can be used, but because it’s a crooked nose.... If anyone here had revision surgery with donor rib cartilage a long time ago, please leave a comment about how it’s been progressing.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
