I had square jaw surgery about 10 years ago. There were no side effects, and the surgery was done safely. The surgery itself went well, but maybe because my face was already large to begin with, my face did not become dramatically smaller afterward. Having a large face had been my complex since I was young, and at the time I was so desperate that I would have had any surgery if it could make my face smaller, so I had a revision consultation to ask whether other surgeries like cheekbone reduction or double-jaw surgery could make it smaller. There was nothing especially bad during the revision consultation, but there was something I personally felt hurt by on my own. Before surgery, the attitude was very warm and kind. But when I went for the revision consultation after surgery, they spoke to me without even making eye contact. As for the consultation itself, before surgery they spoke as if my face could become smaller, but after surgery they said that even if I had other surgeries, it would not show much, and there was no way to make my face dramatically smallerㅜㅜ It was just that, with my young mindset, the change in attitude hurt meㅜㅜ Now I don’t feel anything about it, but at the time it was a bit like that.... But well, the surgery was not botched or anything, so maybe they could have felt displeased that I was getting a revision consultation, or maybe something bad had happened that day.. I don’t think I can judge someone’s character based on my one experience. I do think they are probably not a bad person. I have absolutely no malicious intent and am writing this to share information, but I don’t know how much I’m allowed to write, so if this is a post that could be reported for defamation, I’m willing to delete it right away..
