I think it’s been about 8-9 months since the 2nd surgery. I had it done in early September last year, and something like milia started appearing on my double-eyelid line from February 2025.
When I first found the milia, it wasn’t that big, so I left it alone, but it gradually became visible to the point that the line looked bumpy even when I opened my eyes, so I had it removed with a laser.
The next time I found milia on my eye was in April. This time too, I visited a dermatology clinic to have it removed, and they said it wasn’t milia. They said it seemed to be inflammation, inflammation collected inside, so while they were pricking it with a needle and removing it, they said it seemed like the inflammation was forming because of a suture. After removing all the inflammation, the suture was sticking out enough to bother me, so I thought it would be a short thread and tried to pull it out, but it kept coming out.
I immediately called the plastic surgery clinic and told them, and they said this kind of thing can happen. Is this normal?
For now, they said that if I visit the plastic surgery clinic, the only thing they can do is pull the thread a little more, cut only both ends, and finish it, and they said they’re sorry but this is something I need to understand. When I asked what they would do if the line comes undone, they said they would fix it again, but only within 2 years. It’s been 8-9 months now and the suture has come out.. This is the first time something like this has happened, so I’m so flustered and don’t know what to do, so I’m posting for the first time..
Just in case, I didn’t write anything about the hospital at all.
