The reason I first decided on nose surgery was because of my low nose, which had been a complex for a long time. When viewed from the side, the slightly protruding nasal dorsum didn’t look refined, and even if it looked okay from the front, I always felt something was lacking in my side profile. Then I made up my mind and had my first nose surgery, removing the hump and using autologous costal cartilage. Honestly, I had a lot of worries because it was autologous costal cartilageㅠ I was worried about scarring and pain, and I had heard a lot that even after rhinitis surgery, nasal congestion could occur, so I went into the surgery prepared, thinking, “It’ll go back eventually.” Especially because I heard that among people who had rhinitis surgery together, many had blockage again before even 6 months had passed and were considering revision surgery.. Now that it’s already been 11 months, I’m surprised that I can still breathe so comfortably with no feeling of breathing discomfort at all! It even feels like I can breathe more refreshingly than before surgery, so my satisfaction is really high haha And what I’m most satisfied with is that both the shape and height seem to have settled perfectly for my face shape and overall vibe! At first, I thought it might look a bit high, but as time passed, the residual swelling went down, and it blended naturally into my face to the point where I got used to it like, “Was this originally my nose?”!! From the front, side, and 45-degree angles, I’m so satisfied with the smooth line, and people around me say it looks so natural that they can’t tell I had nose surgery. Since it was done with autologous costal cartilage, it feels stable, and even now, 11 months later, the shape and line are maintained well without any particular changes. I feel so good that I wonder, “Is it okay to be this satisfied with my first surgery?” haha I feel like all the time I spent struggling and worrying wasn’t wasted!! I want to tell people who are hesitating about surgery to try taking courage too!!
