Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

This is an adult cleft lip and palate surgery review!

I am a cleft lip and palate patient, and since I am about to start job hunting, I decided to have nose surgery. After going to consultations at several hospitals, the director at the hospital where I had surgery gave me confidence that he could improve both the functional aspects and the cosmetic aspects of cleft lip and palate. I booked the surgery just 2 days after the consultation. Since I knew that cleft lip and palate patients improve by about 80%, I tried not to be too greedy aesthetically, but while looking at before-and-after photos, I became confident that I could also have such a pretty nose. After making an appointment, there are often times when you have to wait at hospitals, but at the hospital where I had surgery, they held the consultation exactly at the reserved time, which was nice. Especially! They did not charge a consultation fee either! The director honestly told me what needed improvement and which parts would be difficult to improve, and because he said exactly the same things I already knew, I trusted him even more. He did not recommend unnecessary surgery, and I was grateful that, in addition to cleft lip and palate, he immediately picked up on my concern about my bulbous nose. The consultant was also very kind, so I asked many questions about the surgery as if I were asking my own older sister, and she answered everything sincerely, so I was really grateful.❤ After surgery, because costal cartilage was used, I had no particular discomfort other than pain at the incision site. It was only uncomfortable to sleep lying straight on my back, but since most people have to live that way after nose surgery anyway, I thought it was an expected inconvenience. Amazingly, I had almost no swelling or bruising! I do have a body type that recovers quickly, but now that 2 months have passed, the scars on both the rib area and the nasal incision site have faded considerably. After surgery, people around me said it did not look obvious that I had nose surgery, but they kept complimenting me that my nose had naturally become so pretty and slim! I still feel awkward every time I look in the mirror, but people seeing me for the first time often don't know. haha I get a lot of reactions like, "Your nasal bridge is really pretty." The nostril asymmetry has also improved so much that, unless you stare closely, you really cannot tell from the front. The mucous membranes inside my nose are still swollen, so it is a little hard to breathe, but since I have to wait at least 6 months, I am looking forward to the changes in my nose every month. Thank you so much for helping me successfully complete my first cleft lip and palate surgery!❤
