Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

20 days after nose implant removal

When I went last week to have the stitches inside my nose removed,

I asked, and they said they completely removed the Medpor columellar strut and the septal cartilage at the nasal tip,

and only tied the alar cartilage inside my nose.

Even before surgery, I didn’t have anything inserted into the nasal bridge.

It’s my own nasal bridge. I had a Medpor or Porex columellar strut,

and only septal cartilage placed on the nasal tip.

According to the director, before removal he thought the shape would not look good,

but after removing it, the shape was better than expected, so that was a relief, he said.

When I went for a consultation asking for removal because of inflammation, he had said everything would collapse and that he couldn’t take responsibility.

Today is day 20. I’m almost entering week 3 now.

Compared with day 11, it feels like the nasal tip has gone down slightly.

I don’t have any pulling from the contraction phase yet.

Since I took antibiotics for almost over a month and a half, and because I was worried and stressed about the inflammation removal surgery,

for the first time in my life I have what seems like herpes labialis or cheilitis next to my lip, ulcers inside my mouth, and even a severe body-ache fever cold along with it. Today I went to an ENT clinic and got an IV drip, and I feel a little lighter nowㅜㅜ The doctor said it came from long-term antibiotic use, stress, and lowered immunity.

Everyone, please reduce stress and build up your immunity. Take antibiotics in moderation too~
