Before surgery, I was so stressed about my chin every time I looked in the mirror, and when taking photos I always tried to cover my chin or avoid side-profile shots, but now I have none of those worries at all lolol I really didn’t know a face shape could change a person this much... It became surprisingly natural, and I’m living with no sense of foreignness, as if this had just been my original face haha For about 3 days after first getting double-jaw surgery, it was really... so hard that I thought, “Why did I do this...?” lolol I kept coughing, couldn’t even drink a sip of water, and breathing was uncomfortableㅠ But as time passed, the swelling went down and my condition gradually improved, and especially after about a month, I could feel myself recovering noticeably! People around me also told me a lot that my impression had become really softer and my image had improved, so I felt more confident for no reason and felt good haha Before, I always deleted photos after taking them, but these days I even want to take more selfies for no reason lololol Before, I really took a lot of photos covering my mouth to hide my lower face, but now I just smile comfortably and take photos! Isn’t this real happiness? lol Of course, I’m still continuing orthodontic treatment, so it is a bit uncomfortable. Especially when eating, it’s inevitably a bit annoying and takes a long time… But once the orthodontic treatment is over, I feel like I’ll really be complete lol Personally, I recommend doing orthodontic treatment to some extent before surgery too! It’s a process that takes quite a long time, so mental preparation is essential lol Looking back now, I think I really would have regretted it if I hadn’t had the surgery. I even feel like, why didn’t I do it a little sooner? haha Before double-jaw surgery, of course I had a lot of worries and was scared, and I wondered what if something went wrong...
