I had deep cheek surgery yesterday. I now have dimples on both sides. And they’re on the nasolabial fold lines.. I would rather they had appeared on my cheeks.. They’re not indented all the time, but when I eat or smile, the dimples sink in deeply, like more than 1 cm.. The other side is only slightly noticeable.. It’s only been one day since surgery, so it’s too early to judge.. Could this be a side effect? Does it recover..? I wish they had appeared on my cheeks, but they formed right on the nasolabial fold line above my lips, so I don’t know what to do, sob sob. When I called the clinic, they said, “What kind of random thing are you talking about?” and told me to come in for a consultation -_-
