During anesthesia, the fluid going into the body is cold, and because you're completely undressed, your body temperature inevitably drops a lot.
Body function can decline after surgery too, but because of the anesthesia, I experienced a severe drop in stamina.
It felt like my bodily rhythm was completely disrupted, and my period stopped for about 3 months. I do think sedation also has harmful effects on the body.
