Before surgery, I didn’t have an arrow-shaped nose; it was a hump nose + bulbous nose. During my first surgery, they shaved down the hump and lifted the nasal tip with ear cartilage, but after a year it drooped sharply like an arrow-shaped nose, so I got an aftercare revision at the same clinic using septal cartilage + ear cartilage. After that, I thought it might be getting better, but now, 2 years later, it has drooped again like an arrow-shaped nose… If I end up having surgery again next time, I’m thinking of using autologous costal cartilage. Does costal cartilage not droop the way septal cartilage or ear cartilage does? I don’t want to make the overall height of my nose any higher right now, so what should I do in this case? For everyone here who had revision surgery because of nasal tip drooping after surgery, what did you do??
ww자리 For drooping, people do seem to almost always use autologous costal cartilage. Even autologous costal cartilage isn’t guaranteed, but still.
furi I also had revision surgery because my nasal tip sank down~ Since I was more careful during recovery than the first time, it stayed in place well.
부우우우 [@furi] What material did you use when you had revision surgery??
부우우우 [@ww자리] I see..
