I guess all removal consultations are the same.

Hello, I live in Daegu. I joined a long time ago, but this is my first time actually writing about implant removal consultations. I had my first surgery in January 2005 (silicone, Medpor), and revision surgery in November 20102 (silicone, ear cartilage, septal support). At the time of my first surgery, anti-plastic-surgery forums or communities where you could properly learn about the side effects of rhinoplasty were not active, so I did not know much. It was only before my revision surgery that I really felt the risks of rhinoplasty. Since I had been discriminated against and teased a lot about my appearance from a very young age, even if those communities had been active in 2005, I think I would still have chosen plastic surgery in the end because of my ugly nose. Anyway, to get to the point, I have already had revision surgery, and since the revision, there has not been a single day when I did not think about removal. I always hovered around this community and various plastic-surgery forums, reading other people's experiences. Then the nasal tip cartilage that had started to show through not long after the revision surgery has recently become palpable at the border, and it shows through so badly that I had a consultation at a plastic surgery clinic yesterday. (The silicone had shown through since my first surgery, and it got worse after the revision.) My first consultation was at the clinic where I had the revision surgery, and they said very simply that all they needed to do was shave down the nasal tip cartilage that was showing through. And if it got worse, they suggested using dermis harvested from the buttock for surgery... saying, "I'm the specialist, so I know best"... Seeing how casually and simply they spoke, I just said, "Yes, I understand," and left without another word. When I had a consultation not long after the revision surgery, I was treated like a crazy person and practically chased out, so this time I could not argue any further either. Their reaction was like they were so annoyed they could hardly stand it. They showed me my pre-revision photos and said I looked so different from now, belittling that appearance, and I had nothing in particular to say. Then I went to a second clinic nearby, and without even properly examining my nose, they just said we should remove the silicone and then decide whether to put in filler or thin silicone... They ended it with that one sentence. When I tried to say anything else, they got angry, saying it would only make them repeat the same thing, and they would not listen at all. At the third clinic, the doctor had experience working with the surgeon who did my revision, and said they even knew the surgical method well, then just made an unreadable expression. I said I did not mind being ugly, I just wanted to be comfortable... and that I only wanted removal. They looked annoyed and then left, saying I should talk about the rest with the consultation manager. In the end, I only heard that removal alone would cost 500,000 won, and left the consultation without gaining much. I suppose everyone else has the same kind of experience and comes away like this. Maybe I really do need to go to a removal-specialist clinic in Seoul for a consultation... But the reactions at the Seoul clinics I went to about two years ago right after my revision surgery were no different. They all sneered as I left after the consultation, as if to say, "If you were going to remove it, why did you do it in the first place...?" My chest feels tight and I cannot sleep. I wonder if I could get a proper consultation even at a university hospital... I know very well that the best option is to have the surgeon who operated on me do the removal. But since that person is the most skeptical, I am troubled. As the doctor who did my revision surgery said, my skin is very thin, so do I ultimately have to undergo autologous dermis surgery... Or should I just have removal only, as I want... For those who courageously had removal, how was it? I would like to hear your opinions.
