I went in to get a double-eyelid revision through an introduction from an acquaintance, and now it has almost been a month since I had it done with the doctor's recommendation and without any information at all. It turned out they don't use silicone types at the tip of the nose these days.
My nose didn't even get prettier from the nose surgery... There is silicone in the bridge and Silitex at the tip, so I want to remove it, but it's so hard. The doctor at the hospital where I had the surgery is not a board-certified specialist. The eyes seem to have turned out well, but I came home with a nose I never even planned on having, and I don't know what kind of emotional suffering this is..
Even if the doctor is not a specialist, is it best to have the removal done by the same doctor who did the surgery? After consulting at other hospitals, some said it should be removed through open removal or by making incisions inside both nostrils, but some doctors said that because it is Silitex, it should be removed quickly, while others said it doesn't matter..
For now, I'm thinking of going to the hospital where I had the surgery the day after tomorrow, hearing what they say, and deciding whether to remove it. But even when I had the surgery, they did the one-sided nostril without opening the other side, and they said they would remove it from one side again when taking it out. At another hospital, they said it would be hard to remove it from only one side..
It seems like the Silitex at the tip of my nose is bent. Another hospital said the same thing.. But the hospital where I had the surgery says it's not crooked and that it's only because of swelling. They said wouldn't it be better to wait 3 months, but I still said I want it removed, so I decided I'd get counseling and then decide whether to have it removed that same day or do whatever..
Have you heard of Silitex being inserted at the nose tip? Should I go to a clinic specializing in nose revision to have it removed?.. What should I do. I'm so scared I won't be able to go back to my old nose... I'm afraid contracture will happen ㅠ...
